Keep Your Pool Algae Free

August is creeping up on us, and that can mean one thing for pool owners, the frustrating experience of having algae float around in your pool.
The end of the summer is slowly approaching, families are taking vacations left and right, and not a whole lot of their attention is focusing on the cleanliness of their pool. Taking care of your pool is the last thought on your mind when school is around the corner, finish the summer strong with a pool that is crystal clear!
Although having algae in your pool isn’t all too common, if it does appear in your pool it can be an annoyance to get rid of. Just in case these green organisms do surface in your backyard pool, here is a list of 4 keys to ensure your pool doesn’t have the problem of growing algae:

• Keep your sanitizer levels up- chlorine levels must be kept at optimal levels, all day, every day.
• Keep the water moving- algae starts when water stops; keep your filter on for the month of August.
• Use the pool- the best way to keep a pool clean is by actually using it. Swimmers mix up the water and debris, which allows the skimmer to catch more particles and ultimately filter the pool better.
• Add an algaecide weekly- best way to prevent algae from ever surfacing, keeps your summer stress free.

The Best Pool Games for Kids' Parties!

There's no better way to end a school year than a pool party!!  It's a great way for the kids (and the parents) to enjoy the sun and outdoors.  That's why we've put together a list of some of the BEST pool party games out there!  Don't forget, all of these games require the watchful presence of an adult to ensure water safety.
Suntek Pools and Spas
Sharks and Minnows
One player is the Shark, while the rest of the group are the minnows.  While starting at different ends of the pools, the minnows have to try and get to the sharks side without getting heard.  If the shark hears even the smalls splash, they're unleashed into the water to tag the closest minnow.  The kid that gets tagged becomes the shark in the next round.

Marco Polo
One of the most popular pool games ever! One player is blindfolded and yells "Marco" and the rest of the group shouts back "Polo". The blindfolded player tries to listen for the polo and attempt to tag them.  The kid that is tagged becomes marco in the next round.

Musical Pool
Similar to Musical Chairs, you use rafts, floats or tubes.  All players start inside the pool swimming to music, with one less floatation device than the number of kids. Once the music stops kids need to grab a float to stay in! Kids are eliminated one by one.

Are You Sick and Tired of Feeling Sick and Tired?

Long-term exposure to stress can lead to serious health problems.  Too much stress can raise blood pressure, reduce immune system effectiveness, greatly increase the risk of stroke or heart disease, and help speed up the aging process.  Here's HOW spas will help you Relax.....

Sick and Tired of Feeling Sick and Tired

Neck - Spas help reduce neck pain by providing Heat to the painful area. Heat from the hot tub can increase circulation and speed up recovery to any damage to the tissue area.

Back - Because the lower back is the connection between the upper and lower body, it bears most of the body's weight. Massaging jets can relieve muscle tension and alleviate stress.

Arthritis - Inflammation of the joints causes pain and swelling in the body's joints.  Research has showed that the combination of Hot Tub Heat and Massage Jets help significantly reduce joint pain and improve mobility.

Joints - Arthritis is related to the limiting of mobility from inflammation, injury or disease in joints. Buoyancy from a hot tub can reduce effects of pressure on joints and spine.
